3148520 - Invited to Apply Candidates able to apply for an Unposted or Expired Job Requisition - Recruiting Management

Candidates that are invited to apply can apply for a Requisition even when the job posting has been removed or has expired.

There is an option enabled within Admin Center > Manage Recruiting Settings that allows Candidates to apply: 

“Allow forwarding of candidates to unposted jobs”

This option will give the Recruiter the possibility to forward a Candidate to "Invite to Apply" status when a Requisition's Job Post has been either Removed, Expired or never posted.

To prevent this behavior, it is necessary to disable the option within Admin Center. When disabled, the Recruiter will not be able to forward a Candidate:
