3148562 - Can't add the same class in different scheduled programs

Symptom

It's not possible to add the same class in different scheduled programs.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Search for any scheduled program and access it > Ex. Program A >
  2. Search for an item > Add classes > Save it >
  3. Search and access another scheduled program > Ex.: Program B >
  4. Search for the same item > Add classes > Save it >
  5. The same class will not show in both programs.

Cause

This is the current system design that scheduled programs cannot share classes.

Resolution

Alternatively, to have a different system behavior please raise an enhancement request in the SAP Customer Influence Portal (KBA 2090228). The Learning Product Management team can further review and assess the requested functionality to be considered in a future release.
