3148727 - Web logon error "Client, name, or password is not correct; log on again" in ABAP system

Symptom

Though entering correct username and password in logon page, below error shows after clicking "Log On" button:
Client, name, or password is not correct; log on again

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."
