You have configured in SSCUI 104740 several decision reasons.
In My inbox, you select the decision Reason ID and you enter comments in the Text Box
In the Email notification the comments are not displayed.
Environment
Product version: SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2202
Cause
This is a not displayed information in current 2202 CE; The email template will not shown this comments section.
Only the Text associated to the Decision Reason ID can be displayed.
Resolution
The comments can be displayed in the " approval details " tab in Manage Purchase Order
