3149076 - The Account Field Is Not Showing Any Data on Segmentation Model

The "Account" (Company name) field on the segmentation model is not showing any data. 

SAP Marketing Cloud

1.  Create a segmentation model for profile "All Contacts" or "All Accounts and Contacts".
2.  Search by the field "Account" and preview.

You will see that no data is returned, or is returned for few contacts only.

The field COMPANY_NAME is a deprecated field that was used in the past where the Contact-Account relationship was not handled in the same way which is now. Most of the current APIs do not fulfill this field information during the import of Accounts and Contact relationship, that's why you do not see any information for this field in your segmentation models.

If you want to check the Account/Contact relationship, we advise you to use the segmentation model SAP_CONTACT_ENGAGEMENT_SIN and enable the field CORPORATEACCOUNTID and CORPORATEACCOUNTORIGIN can be used in Segmentation to identify Accounts.

If you are interested only in checking all Account/Contact names, you can preview the attribute Full Name, it will display all Account and Contacts full names.
