3149347 - Portal Favourites do not get loaded using AJAX Framework Page

Symptom

  • When you are using the AJAX Framework Page (Standards or Quirks variants) the Portal favourites do not load. Upon clicking the Favourites menu, it is stuck at Loading... text
  • The problem occurs for all end users
  • You observe the following Exception written to the Developer/Default trace files:

com.sap.portal.navigation.servlet.NavigationServlet [Thread[HTTP Worker [@878169215],5,Dedicated_Application_Thread]] Error: NavigationServlet.doGet: fail to get registered handler.

com.sap.portal.navigation.afp.exception.NoHandlerRegisteredException
