Is it possible to unpublish after a private version is published? If yes, how the private version is again created?

Resolution
The answer is no, once a private version is published there is no option to unpublish it.
As maybe expected, once a private version is published to a public version, the data from private for the scope that was captured in the private view is written back over the public data view. No private version UNDO available by user.
