3149585 - How to add Server Side Addin to Outlook Ribbon

It happens that for some reason the icons of Server side addin are wiped from the Outlook ribbon

Ms Outlook and SAP Cloud for Customer

• Ensure that the Addin is enabled for the respective user by checking in Groupware Settings--> select the user--> Check Addin Status and the results are fine.
• Now, open the Outlook but the icon is not appearing in ribbon.

If there is no Addin in the Desktop Outlook but it is accessible in OWA, it may be the case with disabled addin via Group Policies.

Please find the steps to enable the Addin.

Preliminary Check:

• In Outlook, press of File.
• Select "Manage Add-ins".
• After that, you should be re-directed to web browser's page with OWA (Outlook Web Access).
• In OWA view, the popup page should appear with "Add-ins for Outlook" list.
• Select "My Add-ins" from the list on the left side.
• Check if you have the required Addin among the "Custom add-ins". It should look like this:

• Now, In Outlook, press on "File":
• Then go to "Options" menu on the left side panel.
• Click "Customize Ribbon"
• Please select "All Commands" from the "Choose commands from" dropdown.

• Now scroll to letter "V" and check if "View Context for SAP Cloud for Customer" sits in the list.
• Then, expand "Home(Mail)" node and select "Add-ins" in the right side.
• At the bottom there is a button called "New Group". 
• Click it and a new node "New Group(Custom)" is created under "Add-Ins".

• Now click on the Add button to shuffle "View Context for SAP Cloud for Customer" to the "New Group (Custom)".

• Press "OK" button .
• Now, go to Outlook screen and you should be able to see the Addin in the Ribbon.
