• Error: You cannot delete the Time Event Type as it is already being used in a Time Event.
• While trying to delete the Time Event Type from Time Event Types and Groups, an error is thrown.
• Cannot delete the Time Event Type which is already configured.

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking – Clock In Clock Out

1. Login to SF instance (Time Tracking Enabled).
2. Go to Admin Center > Configure Clock In Clock Out > Time Event Types and Groups.
3. Under Time Event Types, delete one of the time types e.g. Clock In in example shown below.
4. Error occurs
            

Once time event is created with certain time event types, that cannot be deleted as it is being used already in time event. Only way to delete is to deleting existing time events which are using this Time Event Type and then delete it.
