3150073 - Unable to transfer forms to New Manager and keep with Old HR Rep at the same time - Performance Management

You configure Change Engine to keep forms with Old HR Rep., however you want the forms to be transferred to the New Manager once a change occurs. When you change the EH the form remains with old HR Rep., however when you change the EM the form keeps with Old Manager as well, even though you configured the Automatic Manager Transfer options in form settings.

SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management

1. Configure Change Engine to keep forms with Old HR Rep.;
2. Configure Form Template Settings to run the change engine and keep the form with Old HR Rep.;
3. Configure the Form Template Settings to transfer the form to New Manager;
4. Launch the form to an Employee;
5. Change Employee's HR Rep.;
6. See freeze-user-to-role ran and the form was kept with old HR Rep.;
7. Change Employee's Manager;
8. See the form was not transfer to New Manager and it was kept with Old Manager.

The freeze-user-to-role freezes all the roles in the route map.

Once the freeze-user-to-role runs, this is independent of the role. All roles will be freezed.

Note: this is also valid for the opposite scenario. If you configure Change Engine to keep the form with Old Manager but you want other role to be transferred, once you change the Manager the freeze-user-to-role will run and all the other roles that you change will be freezed as well.

Workaround: if you want a role to be freezed in the form and other one to be transferred, you can change the one you want transferred first, and then change the one you want to keep.
