3150383 - Null suppression in waterfall chart not working in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

Null suppresion in waterfall chart is not working in SAC.

○ SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2021.14.20

1. Open a story in SAC.
2. Add waterfall chart.
3. Tick Zero suppression option for all used measures and dimensions.
4. Notice that Zero (+0.0 or (0.0)) values are still displayed.

It is a behaviour by design to show the null values.

• +0.0 or (0.0) is near-zero but not zero, these values are expected to be displayed and not deleted.
• Values with no label or bar are not actually zero, they are null.
• Null suppression is not yet available in charts and it is a longer term feature to be implemented.
