3150540 - Error: 12300, 644, 614, 691, 605 - tables index page overwrote data page- SAP ASE

Symptom

  • ASE data corrupted on disk.
  • "Invalid DOL data row pointer: row -12767 with status 0xef00 must be normal row instead of compressed row" may also reported in errorlog.
  • ASE may report the following errors in errorlog:
    • Error: 12300, Severity: 20, State: 2 Internal error: in table 'xxx', database 28, the forwarded row (11406084, 0) pointed to by (95479240, 0) is invalid. Aborting the transaction.
    • Error: 644, Severity: 21, State: 5 Index row entry for data row id (26439638, 0) is missing from index page 70502746 of index id 0 of table 'xxx' in database 'dbname'. Xactid is (235057,0). Drop and re-create the index.
    • Error: 691, Severity: 20, State: 1 Encountered invalid logical page '0' while accessing database 'dbname' (28), object 'xxx' (880006166), index 'indexname' (5), partition 'indexname_880006166' (880006166). This is an internal system error. Please contact SAP Technical Support.
    • Error: 605, Severity: 21, State: 1 An attempt was made to fetch logical page '33468892' from cache 'my_cache'. Page belongs to database 'mydb' (28), object 'mytable' (1488005301), index 'mytable_ind1' (255), partition 'mytable_1488005301' (1488005301) and not to database 'mydb' (28), object 'mytable2' (1360004845), index 'mytable2_ind1' (3), partition 'mytabe_1360004845' (1360004845).
