3150579 - SAP system does not start after Kernel Upgrade - SAP ASE for Business Suite

• After an SAP KERNEL upgrade from 7.53 PL 800-series to PL900 or PL921, the SAP system does not start.
• The following errors are received in the developer / work process trace file:
  ASE configuration parameter expand numeric truncated scale has value 0, must have value 1
  incorrect values for ASE configuration parameters found. Cannot continue.
