You're facing the error message "Failed to resolve navigation target "#AnalyticQuery-analyze?bsa_query=2CYY1_EXAMPLE". This is most likely caused by an incorrect SAP Fiori launchpad content configuration or by a missing role assignment." while trying to access a Custom App based on Custom Analytical Queries even that the required Business Roles and Catalogs are correctly assigned to the user." when trying to preview a Custom Analytical Query.

Missing authorization. The required Business Catalog for Custom Analytical Queries isn't included in the Business Roles.

As the custom app is based on Custom Analytical Queries, the Business Catalog SAP_BW_BC_AQB_PC or SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_AQA_PC needs to be included in the Business Roles. Check if the Business Roles have this Business Catalog assigned and if they don't, ask the customer to assign and try again. 

Please, be aware that business catalog SAP_CORE_BC_EXT_AQA_PC will give access to the target mapping but will also give access to the data behind the custom queries.
