3151911 - Purchase Requisition for service order with external items

Symptom

When a service order with multiple external items (service parts) is released, the system creates purchase requisitions for each service item.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

There is no configuration available as part of the standard design in SAP S/4HANA Cloud to create a single purchase requisition for multiple service part items.

Resolution

This is an expected behavior of SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
