Symptom
- sap_set_password failed to update RSSD prim user's password with the following msgs:
- SetPassword Failing Command Error Message Unable to alter the password on the Replication Server 'xxxx.xxx.xxx.xxx'.4905' for the user '<SID>_REP_SITE2_RSSD_prim'.
- SetPassword Failing Exception Message: 'com.sybase.jdbc4.jdbc.SybSQLException: Failed to connect to server '<SID>_REP_SITE2_RSSD' as user '<SID>_REP_SITE2_RSSD_prim'.
See CT-Lib and/or server error messages for more information.' Cause: 'Failed to connect to server '<SID>_REP_SITE2_RSSD' as user '<SID>_REP_SITE2_RSSD_prim'.
- The new password strings contains special characters: # or =. e.g. 'NewPwd#xxxx' or 'NewPwd=xxxx'
