3152257 - Text insertion speed is poor - Logical I/O grows exponentially with table size - SAP ASE

• Poor text insertion speed when inserted table size grows;
• In 99,5 % of the inserts : logical io (set statistics io output) is 7 io and in 0,5 % of the inserts logical io is much more;
• The bigger the table, the larger the logical io for example:

                table 20 GB : logical io  500
                table 60 GB logical io 1500
                table 110 GB , logical io 3000
                table is 300 GB , logical io 18 000 

• In an insertion without text field, the logical IO is always the same.
