3153793 - New Hires manually initiated onboarding are being marked inactive

Actually the product team released a patch at January.

Now with this new change, if there is a failure during manual onboarding(before ONB2Process is created), the onboardee status will be marked as 'inactive' and customer can purge the failed one and initiate onboarding again for same candidate.

The following 4 scenarios could make the failed candidate inactive:

1) Initiate Onboarding failure due to start date change in Additional Details page

Customer should not change start date in 'additional details page'. If they want to change start date, they should do cancel in 'additional data page' and re-initiate manual onboarding and provide correct date in the manual onboarding page.

If customer has already changed the start date and 'additional details page' and done the 'submit' action then they have to do purge for the external user. Once purge is completed then they can re-initiate manual onboarding for user.

2) Cancel action from Additional Details page

If customer cancel from 'additional details page' then the application would mark the onboardee as inactive.

3) Initiate Onboarding failure due to existence of Onboarding Process

This can happen when manual onboarding is initiated for a user and later cancelled from dashboard. And customer try to manually initiate onboarding for the same candidate without purge.

4) DG Refresh Job Collision during External User Creation

This is a code issue. This is a known issue and should not be frequent. Engineering team are discussing on a permanent fix for this issue.

Please let the responsible users know scenario 1)-3) and try to avoid it.

Once it happened, you have to purge the failed one and initiate again.

Apart from that, please also check basic configuration like process variant and select process variant rule.

Make sure process variant selected in rules is active.

Once corrected, please update process.
