Symptom

Users with no access to Sales Quote via Business role can create Routing Rules for Sales Quotes.

Environment

 SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in with a user that has restricted access to the Sales Quote work centre (WC)
  2. Go to the Activity Planner work centre
  3. Go to Routing Rules and click new
  4. Click the Business Application drop down
  5. Observe as Sales Quote is editable.

Cause

Restricting access to a work centre (e.g. Sales Quotes) mean that the user is unable to view information about or directly edit items in that WC, but the business objects will still appear in locations like Routing Rules.  This also applies to BOs other than Sales Quotes.

Resolution

This is the expected system behaviour.
