3154297 - BIB - How to query Secondary Assignments

This KBA explains how to query Secondary Assignments in BIB integration.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central Integration to SAP Business Suite 

1. Enable Secondary Assignments in Compound Employee API by following details in Secondary Assignments. 

2. Secondary Assignments is an MDF object itself on the SF side, but it is not included in the predelivery BIB integration configuration.
So it is needed to follow the steps in Creating Custom MDF Objects to include Secondary Assignments in BIB integration configuration.

Please note, after you have done the metadata import until Step 3 in Creating Custom MDF Objects, it is needed to create a new transformation template as requested in Step 4 and 5 as an Active template in the particular BIB template group in use.
Otherwise, secondarysssignments will not be included in the BIB outbound query XML payload, and as a result there will not be <SecondaryAssignments> in the inbound XML payload containing the employee master data for BIB processing either.
