3154744 - "Give a Badge" button missing from Actions - Employee Profile

"Give a Badge" button does not display listed in Header > Actions or in My Team tile > Actions.

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Profile

1. Navigate to the concerning Permission Role;
2. Go to "Employee Data";
3. Make sure the "SF Badges" permission is enabled;
4. Navigate to the targer user profile;
5. See the Badges block is visible and you can add badges to it;
6. Then scroll up to the Header;
7. Click the "Actions" button;
8. See that the "Give a Badge" button is not listed.

Same happens if an employee manager has the SF Badges permission enabled, and with the Latest Home Page and My Team Tile turned on, cannot see the Give a Badge button within the Tile's Actions button.

The available solution is to uncheck the box "Exclude granted users from having the permission access to themselves" for the affected employees' role.

If this is not feasible on the existing role as may impact other permissions, it is advisable to create a separate role, grant just the SF Badges permission to it, adding as member all concerning employees and adjusting the target population as per requirements, but making sure the "Exclude granted users from having the permission access to themselves" option is unchecked.

An enhancement is planned for 1h2022 release.
