Symptom

  • You have a HMRC scenario running through SAP Process Integration with SOAP Adapter via Proxy connecting to https://transaction-engine.tax.service.gov.uk
  • SNI was recently enabled at https://transaction-engine.tax.service.gov.uk
  • SNI is enabled in SAP Process Integration as described on SAP KBA 2604240 TLS handshake failure due to missing SNI extension.
  • The messages running through this scenario are failing with error "Call failed: iaik.security.ssl.SSLException: Record version mismatch: 00"
  • The Ping Channel functionality may also be failing with the same error.
