You trying to replicate an Account Hierarchy to C4C from SAP ERP, in which the Child Account and the Parent Account are the same.
Environment
SAP Cloud for Customer
Resolution
In C4C, it is not allowed that you assign the same Account instance as it's parent Account. Semantically, this also doesn't make sense as this is a circular reference which should never happen in a Hierarchy.
This is the expected system behavior.
