3155621 - Directly uploaded image from Instruction Header for external candidates do not appear under My Profile for external candidates

Symptom

Image is added in the instructional header for the Candidate Profile Template from Manage Templates.

It appears fine on the My profile page in internal career site but does not appear on the external career site.

Reproducing the Issue

Add an image under Manage Templates -> Candidate Profile Template -> Instruction Header for internal candidates and external candidates.

using the image -> upload option.

You can observe that the internal candidates can see the image under 'My Profile' page.

But, external candidate will not be able to see this image under My Profile in the External Career Site

Cause

Our Product management has confirmed that this is an expected behavior.

Images uploaded to the SF server can be accessed only through BizX authentication. Though added this to external career site there is no bizx authentication and hence the image does not load.

Resolution

As a workaround, instead of using the image upload option, under 'Instructional header For External Candidates' we need to provide the Image URL which can be access without any authentication.

And, in this case you can see the image will render/appear without any issues.

To obtain the URL of the image uploaded on SFTP server, raise a case and contact the SAP support team.
