3155636 - Rejected status is instantly visible for candidate in the jobs applied portlet

Once a candidate is set to rejected/disqualified status, it is instantly visible for them under jobs applied portlet for the candidate.

But, the disqualification email can be delayed using the feature under (Manage Recruiting settings ->  Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates ).

Is there a way to delay the status change as well?

Apply as a candidate to the job and answer the questions so that the application is disqualified.

OR close the job requisition so the candidate moves to a disqualified status.

The email has a delay based on Manage Recruiting settings ->  Delay Emails to Disqualified Candidates,.

But, the status of the application is immediately shows as disqualified/rejected/requisition closed in the jobs applied portlet in the career site for the applicant.

This is an expected behavior of the system and as of now there is no way to delay the status change like how the disqualification email can be delayed.
