3156456 - "Tax does not equal 0 when tax percentage rate is zero"

You encounter Error Message FS212 "Tax does not equal 0 when tax percentage rate is zero" when posting directly to a tax account with a 0% tax code in the 'Post General Journal Entries' App (ID F0718).

It is not possible to post directly to a tax account in the 'Post General Journal Entries' app. Furthermore when a tax code with a 0% rate is used, this error message is caused.

Please use the 'Post Tax Payables' App (ID F1597) when it is required to post directly to a tax account. Furthermore, posting with 0% tax code should only be performed by 'Post Tax Payables'.
