There is a hierarchy displayed in Analysis Office report. The hierarchy is filtered and the user wants to deactivate the hierarchy by selecting the option "Flat Presentation".
The hierarchy is deactivated but the filter is lost. All members are displayed.

Cause
This is not a bug in the tool but the intended behavior. When selecting "Flat Presentation", all members of the dimension will be displayed.
Resolution
In order to deactivate the hierarchy and keep the filter in the dimension, it is necessary to use the option "Only Use Hierarchy <XYZ> for Filter" as shown below:
