3156723 - SQL Server Logins and users created in the SQL Server by SAP ABAP installation.

Symptom

During the installation of SAP system, many SQL Server Logins and users are created in the SQL Server by SAP Software provisioning Manager.  During the creation of the SQL logins, required server roles and user mappings for the SAP system are also set for the SAP Database and System databases.

It is very important not to change any of the properties set for SQL server logins and users created for SAP system as the proper Server roles and user mapping are required for the operation of the SAP system in SQL Server.

If any of the SQL login properties are modified, then the SAP system will have many problems including the starting of the SAP system. In addition, there will be problems in future SAP upgrades, SQL server release upgrades and any other SWPM procedures.
