3157077 - Not Possible to Reverse for Production Settlement in Parallel Ledgers

You are using Period-End Production Cost Posting scenario (Scope Item BEI). With app Schedule Product Costing Jobs, you used template Production Settlement in Parallel Ledgers to settle orders in Parallel Ledger.
The problem is that you find there is no reversal option for this process.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

• Open app Schedule Product Costing Jobs
• Use template Production Settlement in Parallel Ledgers to settle orders

There are 2 Product Cost by Order scenarios in S/4HANA Cloud:

• Event-Based Production Cost Posting (Scope Item 3F0)
• Period-End Production Cost Posting (Scope Item BEI)

For Parallel Ledger settlement, with 3F0, it's by default supported, which means if the order status is changed to TECO/DLV, system will automatically post the Variance to each ledger. See help document for detail.
With BEI, the settlement has 2 templates:

1. Actual Settlement: Production/Process Orders & Product Cost Collectors
   If you choose this option, the settlement will post values in other ledgers with the same amount in leading ledger.
2. Production Settlement in Parallel Ledgers
   If you choose this option, the settlement will post different amounts according to ledger values.

With current design, if you choose BEI and Production Settlement in Parallel Ledgers, there is no option to reverse the settlement.

• If you have requirement to post different values in different ledgers, suggest you to use 3F0 scenario in the future. 
• If you are using BEI, and there is no special requirement to post different values in different ledgers, you should choose the template "Actual Settlement: Production/Process Orders & Product Cost Collectors" to make settlement. If you choose Production Settlement in Parallel Ledgers, you need to accept there is no reversal option.
