3157552 - Unable to draft save a existing info record due to the error Material has status "" in plant and You can't save. The draft is not consistent.

In the App: Manage Purchasing Info Record, you have clicked on the edit of an existing purchasing info record and didn't change anything but clicked on save button and you get this error

You can't save. The draft is not consistent.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

2. Select the info record in question
3. Edit
4. Save

Material has status "" in plant PQR (PQR indicates Plant)
You can't save. The draft is not consistent.

 

In the Product Master for the material, "Plant-Sp Matl" Status is set as 05 (Obsolete) which means that, the plant-specific material status restricts the usability of the material for the plant concerned, that is, it defines whether a warning or error message is displayed if you include the material in a particular function.

1. In the Manage Product Master Data app
2. Purchasing tab, General data
3. "Plant -Sp.Matl" Status > 03 (use) or leave the field blank and save.

Then you will not receive any error while trying to use the material and relevant info record and try to save in the purchasing info record.
