When posting to asset classes for intangible assets an error is received:

"Account & could not be found for area &

Message no. AU133

Diagnosis

The system could not find account & for company code & in depreciation area & when creating the journal entry.

Procedure

1. Check whether a G/L account is defined in the account determination of Asset Accounting (in the configuration of Asset Accounting in the configuration activity Assign G/L Accounts).
2. Check whether the defined G/L account is created in your company code.
3. Define a G/L account or create the G/L account in your company code.
