3159439 - Username change was not captured in Change Audit Report

Employee’s user name got changed and was not captured in Change Audit Report even though it was captured in SPLUNK logs.

SAP SuccessFactors HCM Core

1. Login to customer's instance
2. Go to Change Audit Reports
3. Create Personal Data Report
4. Choose Person Search
5. In Create Personal Data Report
   - Activity: Change on Subject User
   - Person: <affected user name>
   - Time Range: <date/time when the change happened>
6. Hit Submit

The report will not capture any change in the affected user's username.

Regrettably, engineering team have confirmed that this is a known issue of the audit framework, sometimes there's some issues in audit framework that causes changes to not be recorded in the audit database.

According to our engineering team, they checked the audit database, no audit data was found for changes in username for affected user. Sometimes there's some issues in audit framework that causes changes to not be recorded in the audit database.

It rarely happens but can occur.
