3159493 - While sending Preview Email the error "An application error occurred" is shown

When clicking in "Send Preview" from Email Notification Template Editor is presented the error:

error "An application error occurred"

Error message = Request processing failed; nested exception is com.plateausystems.elms.util.helper.ElmsUncheckedException: Exception while sending preview email to user

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. In the Learning admin side >
2. System Administration >
3. Manage Email >
4. Email Notification Templates >
5. Select the Template ID >
6. Launch the editor and click in "Send Preview" >
7. The error "An Application error has occurred" is presented.

The sender email is not configured or the emails are not enabled in the environment.

Please, go to:

1. System Configuration >
2. Configuration >
3. Global Application Settings >
4. Mail >
5. Enable the email server (Enable email: Enabled) > And fill the fields "Application Notification Admin Email" and "Application Notification User Email" >
6. Click in Apply Changes to save the configuration >
7. Test it again.
