3159948 - Process Intelligence Null Values in Timestamp

Symptom

Unable to import any file where the type = ‘Timestamp’ because the data does not match 100%. Why can't you have null values in a column with ‘Timestamp’ as the data type?

Resolution

The timestamp is a mandatory column from the event log. Process Intelligence detects these columns and checks if the data has the required qualities. For columns containing timestamps, you need to specify the timestamp format. Select a matching timestamp format from the dropdown list, or enter your format in the text field above the list.

Unfortunately, the system doesn’t allow null values because the timestamp is a mandatory column, and each cell must contain a value in the expected data format, otherwise the import will fail.
