3159987 - Unable to add user to my workspace

Symptom



I have tried 3 times without success to add a user to our workspace. I place his email address in the box on new user screen. I edit the User Groups field to add him to the modelers group, along with the default group. I get the success message by means of an 'invitation has been sent' pop up (I thought it used to say that the user had been added to the workspace). But he never shows up in the users tab.



Resolution


There are two different results when you invite a user to your workspace. If the user already registered an account you will receive the message that the user has been added to your workspace and the user will show up directly in the user management. If there is no user registered with this mail address, he/she will receive an invitation mail with a link to the registration form and you will receive the message that the user has been invited to the workspace. After the user has registered his account he/she will show up in the user management.
