3160036 - Task Creation Notifications are coming late

If a task is assigned to a user, the notification email comes after 10-15 min (sometime does not come at all).

Notifications for task assignment should be delivered within 2-3 min max.

The described behavior is, as confirmed by the user guide, the normal application behavior. Please read more information here: Notifications

Assignment notifications along with some other notifications are grouped and sent in batches. Individual assignment emails for example can be delayed up to 60 minutes so that the user receives one email with many notifications instead of a number of individual emails for single assignment alerts.

Also, just before the notifications are sent again, it is verified again if they are necessary. For example assignment notifications will not be sent if the task is already completed or the new assignee changed the assignment himself.
