3160046 - Why does an SAP Solution Manager Copy processes and folders create another folder?

When we perform an SAP Solution Manager > Copy processes and folders, why does it create another folder, instead of just updating the existing folder?

The product is behaving as designed. Please see: Trigger a new copy from SAP Solution Manager where it states the following:

A new folder is created automatically, with the naming pattern Solution-Branch-timestamp .

Each folder is copied with a timestamp, so that it is unique.
