3160056 - After applying an update to Process Manager the first startup takes a long time on an On-Premise system

Symptom


We have updated our On-Premise Signavio Process Manager version or applied a new license file. Afterwards we noticed that the first startup took more than one hour.



Resolution


Please allow some time until the first startup after the update is completed. Depending on the size of your workspace the process can take up to 60 minutes. On very large workspaces with a high number of registered users it might even take up to 2 hours until the application is fully functional. By all means do not interrupt the startup process as this could lead to database inconsistencies.

If your startup process takes longer than 2 hours or you experience unusual behaviour after the update has completed, please contact Signavio Customer Support.
