3160130 - The Favorites star missing in Hub

In the Collaboration Hub, some users have the Favorites start, but some do not.  Why?

Please check with the Signavio Administrator to confirm if the workspace has Hub licenses.

The Favorites star is part of the Notification feature, and if users are using anonymous Portal packages (on On-Premise systems, this is also known as "kerberossso"), then it is disabled.
This is because Notifications need to be sent with known users, i.e. those with email addresses.
If anonymous Portal packages are being used, then the users are considered unknown, and the Notification feature, including the Favorites star, is disabled.

Anonymous Portal packages were phased out by Signavio around April 2021.
However, some On-Premise customers may still be using the anonymous Portal packages, and will still encounter the issue of the Favorites star being missing.
