3160216 - Workflow Accelerator is not sending eMails

Symptom

I don't receive eMails for my Workflows from the Signavio Workflow Accelerator system. What could be the cause ?

Resolution

Please check:

  • If you use repetitive user task reminders, there is a maximum of 25 reminders that are sent out. So if you set the reminder period to one day, you will only receive reminders for the first 25 days. This is a limitation to avoid unnecessary spam.
  • If you start a case or work on a case, you will not receive any notifications for tasks that are created as an immediate response to your actions, even if you are a candidate. The reason is that you see the new task already in the application and don't need to be notified via email.
  • All task notifications are delayed for at least 5 minutes and maximum 60 minutes. Several different notifications will be aggregated into one email. If you complete a task for which you would normally receive a notification within this delay, the notification is not send as it has become obsolete.
