3160258 - Restoring an earlier Revison of a BPMN model as a Copy in SAP Signavio Process Manager

When accessing an earlier revision of a model, and the print function option is selected, Signavio always generates the .PDF file for the latest revision.

So, how can I print an earlier revision of a BPMN model?

This is a known issue and has already been forwarded to our developers to get this fixed. If you are affected by this issue and want to be kept up to date about this issue, please create a ticket in our SAP for Me and reference the ticket number SIGSPM-7024.

As a work-around, you can open the earlier Revision of the model in the Editor, and then use option: Save a copy.
This will create a new model with the suffix: (Copy)
The new model will be at Revision 1.

To open the earlier Revision of the model;

1. Login to Signavio in Process Manager mode.  This will open the Explorer.
2. Click on the model.
3. (At the bottom of the screen) Click on the Feed.  This will open the list of activities, including earlier Revisions.
4. Click on the Feed entry for the model Revision that you need.  A panel should open showing the model and the following options:
   Publish revision · Open to comment · Restore revision · Open to compare · Open revision n in editor 
   
5. Click on the option: Open revision n in editor (where n is the Revision number of the earlier Revision).  The earlier Revision of the model is now open in the Editor.
6. To save this old Revision of the model without overwriting the current Revision, click on the option: Save a copy
   
   
7. The model is now saved as Revision 1, with (Copy) added to the end of its name.
8. It can now be printed using the Print option in the Editor.  
9. Go back to the Explorer & refresh the page.  The Revision 1 copy of the original model can now be exported as a PDF or SGX.
