3160294 - The asterisk character (*) is not displayed in the hub

In a description field we use the character "*" (asterisk). This is also displayed in the Editor and Explorer, but not in the Collaboration Hub. Instead, the character is used there as the beginning and end of the italic.
How can I enter an asterisk in a free text in the editor so that it is displayed?

The asterisk character is reserved in the Markdown web markup language as a marker for bold or italic text.
To display a reserved character in the Collaboration Hub, use the escape character "\". To display the asterisk character in a text field, enter "\*" in the editor.
