3160299 - Will the dictionary entries be deleted if only parts of the dictionary is imported?

Some roles in the dictionary are to be updated via the dictionary import.  Will this delete all entries which are not part of the import?

When the dictionary file is imported, options are prompted to choose mode of import.  No entry will be deleted during the import.
