3160323 - Simulation not possible because more individual instance steps had to be executed than allowed

We receive the following error message that occurs within a simulation when the quantity to be simulated is too high:

"The simulation aborted prematurely as more single steps than allowed had to be executed. Please choose another scenario or change the duration of the current simulation."

Are there any restrictions on the simulation quantity?

In fact, there are certain restrictions here, which are as follows:

1. There cannot be more than 100 executions waiting to be executed (queued) before an activity.
2. A maximum of 40 tasks can be simulated
3. A process instance is limited to about 1000 single tokens/executions
