3160360 - Receiving warnings from modeling conventions check in SAP Signavio Process Manager

Symptom

Receiving warning 'Edge overlays another edge' and 'named using wrong style.' Unable to find any documentation on how to resolve both warnings.  How can this be done?

Resolution

The hints and warnings come from the modeling conventions check when a diagram is saved. The best practices checker proves if every element is named in correct style. In this case the gateway should be asked as a question and every sequence flow as an answer to it.

‘Edge overlays another edge’ means the sequence flows are covered by the other one. In this case, it is impossible to do it better, the warning can be ignored. This would be important if the two sequence flows were dragged combining the same objects. This check can be disabled and also adjusted to other criteria.  This configuration is well described in our manual
