3160368 - Handling incoming e-mails in processes in Signavio Workflow Accelerator

By receiving an e-mail, data from that e-mail should be used during the process. The e-mail should not be the trigger for the process.

There are two ways, how to process data from a third-party-system in a workflow:

• Via a JavaScript action, external webservices can be called and the corresponding data can be assigned to fields within the process.

• Via a webservice that uses our custom data connector, the workflow system is able to load data from the webservice automatically. For example, you can choose a set of data, which is provided by your webservice and use it in forms for user tasks and use the data for decisions or JavaScript actions.

It is not possible at the moment to process incoming e-mails automatically during a running process.
