3160432 - Is there a replacement for the deprecated request() Javascript module in Signavio Workflow Accelerator?

I’m looking to use JavaScript tasks in Signavio Workflow Accelerator for some web service calls. Since request() was deprecated in February 2020 and most Node.js implementations now use node-fetch or axios, are there any plans to support either of these modules in place/in addition to request()?

Even though the library is deprecated, it is still functioning and due to the sandboxed nature of our script executions the risk of exploits is very low. However, we will be looking into alternatives in the future and will communicate any changes to customers when a decision has been made.
