3160732 - Process Intelligence: "The document could not be found"

Symptom

When I am in Process Intelligence and click the button "Open as BPMN" under "Process Variants", I get the error "The document could not be found".


Resolution

When you click this link, a new (temporary) BPMN model is generated and opened in the editor by default. The model is not saved in the workspace until you do so. When you are lacking the permission or licence to open the editor, there is an automated redirect happening to the /p/publisher/{ID}URL. Since the model with this ID has never been saved before, it does not exist and therefor cannot by found. The Process Intelligence team is aware of this behaviour and will improve the messaging or check the users permissions before displaying the link.
