Symptom
After last Signavio update I cannot start SAP Solution Manager 7.2. In the log file I can see the following error message:
ERROR com.zaxxer.hikari.pool.HikariPool - HikariPool-1 - Exception during pool initialization. java.sql.SQLException: The server time zone value 'Mitteleuropäische Zeit' is unrecognized or represents more than one time zone. You must configure either the server or JDBC driver (via the serverTimezone configuration property) to use a more specifc time zone value if you want to utilize time zone support.
Resolution
If the server time zone is configured as e.g. 'Mitteleuropäische Zeit' connection to the database cannot be established. Please stop the server and edit the data base URL in file solman72.yml. The only thing you have to do is to add a serverTimezone parameter with respective value. For 'Mitteleuropäische Zeit' it would be serverTimezone=Europe/Berlin, e.g.:
url: jdbc:mysql://localhost:3306/solman72connector?serverTimezone=Europe/Berlin
