3160993 - Update of dictionary entries via Excel import does not work

We are updating our dictionary entries with an Excel file. We got no error message but no entry got updated. How can we proceed?

We are recommending to process an Excel export of the dictionary first. Then update the Excel file. And then import this file to the dictionary.

Please note that the Excel file that shall be imported, a specific structure has to be followed. This structure is explained in our documentation. You can either create such a file or you export available dictionary entries and use the export file as a template. But the easiest way to follow the structure is to make an export (including correct file structure) and afterwards the import via one file.

Please also note: The import is limited to 500 records per Excel spreadsheet. When trying to import a file with more records, the import fails. If you need to import more than 500 entries, split them up into multiple sheets for one file.
