3160993 - Update of dictionary entries in SAP Signavio Process Manager via Excel import does not work

When updating the dictionary entries with an Excel file, no entries get updated even though there are no errors. How can the entries be added?

It is recommended to export an Excel file of the dictionary first. Then update the Excel file. And then import this file to the dictionary.

Please note that the Excel file that shall be imported, a specific structure has to be followed. This structure is explained in our documentation. A file can be created or an export of the dictionary can be done and used as a template to import the dictionary entries.  The recommended way is to make an export (including correct file structure) and afterwards the import via one file.

Please also note: The import is limited to 500 records per Excel spreadsheet. When trying to import a file with more records, the import fails. If more than 500 entries need to be imported, split them up into multiple sheets for one file.
